Finding a restaurant that pleases both adults and kids can be challenging, but our recent visit to House of India in University City was a delightful surprise. From the moment we entered, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and quickly seated us at a cozy table.
Our kids, usually picky eaters, were immediately drawn to the vibrant colors and enticing aromas of the food. We started with crispy samosas and pakoras, which were a hit with everyone. The kids couldn’t get enough of the sweet and refreshing mango lassi.
For the main course, we ordered a mix of mild and flavorful dishes. The butter chicken was a favorite, with its creamy tomato sauce and tender chicken pieces. The naan bread was perfect for dipping into the various curries.
What truly stood out was the staff’s genuine care and attention. They explained the dishes and offered recommendations based on our preferences. The kids were thrilled when the chef came out to greet us and shared fun facts about Indian cuisine.
Our visit to the House of India was more than just a meal; it was an experience that brought our family closer together. We look forward to returning and making more memories at this wonderful restaurant.
